Payment
Our payment system is yet very simple but unique, so this video may be the easiest way to understand what are explained below.

- ¥9,000: 13+ entries
- ¥7,000: 10-12 entries
- ¥5,000: 7-9 entries
- ¥3,000: 4-6 entries
- ¥2,000: 1-3 entries
- ¥0: 0 entries (Please try to encourage your student to write more, or ask for help!)
- ¥1,000 one-time payment per student who takes a 1-week trial.
- ¥1,000 base pay per student every month during the span of their contract (with pauses when applicable).
- ¥5,000 bonus per student for every 50th note (3 diary entries per note x 50 notes = 150 diary entries). You must complete the final entry of the 50th note before claiming your bonus and notifying staff.
- ¥5,000 one-time bonus per student you introduce to the program, regardless of who takes on the student.
- Two yearly bonuses in May and November (the amount depends on your performance).
- ¥3,000 additional monthly payment per student enrolled in the Voice Recording option. (One recording of a corrected 150-word diary entry per week. No pay cuts as long as you do at least one recording each month. If you did 0 recordings in any given month, then there is no payment for that month).
- ¥5,000 additional monthly payment per student enrolled in the optional 300-word program instead of our basic 150-word program. No pay cuts as long as the student writes at least one 300-word entry each month. If the student writes 0 entries in any given month, there is no payment for that month).
- Payments will be made on the last business day of each month to your Japanese bank or post office account for those residing in Japan, or via PayPal or Wise for those residing outside of Japan. For PayPal and Wise users, we will pay ¥500 as reimbursement to cover the transaction fee.
- All payments for any work that you complete in any given month will be paid in the following month. For example, if you start the diary with two students in October, you will receive the payment for the diary entries written within October on payday at the end of November.
- There is a minimum monthly earnings requirement of ¥3,000 before we can issue payment. If you do not make at least ¥3,000 in any given month, your payment will be deferred until the minimum is met.
Optional Menus
1. Voice recording option plan
As most of you may know, you can add audio recordings on Stock. If you record yourself reading a script and our students can listen to it, that is a wonderful source for them to improve their listening and speaking skills. In addition, we believe it will work effectively to establish a greater connection between you and your students.
What you do:
*Record once in a single note. In other words, once every three entries at the bottom of that note.
*The student chooses one of the corrected entries that he/she wants you to record in that note. (At most 150 words)
(Or, he or she can pick certain lines from the corrected entries within the 150 word limit. Or, perhaps a free-talk may be good for advanced students? There are plenty of possibilities for us to try out and to build on.)
*The payment for this option is 3,000 yen per month without any reduction.
*No pay cuts as long as you do at least one recording each month. If you did 0 recordings in any given month, then there is no payment for that month.
What I’d like you to do now:
Could you record one entry in your students’ notes when possible, as a sample? I’ll inform them about this optional menu item soon and encourage them to take it, so having a sample there is ideal.
(For the sample, it doesn’t have to be a corrected entry. Just a brief voice message from you should be good enough. If you have many students, you can copy & paste the voice file. It’s all up to you! )

2. 300 words optional menu
As you know, we have the “150 words per entry” rule, but if they apply for this option, they will have a right to write 300 words per entry. The additional payment for you is 5,000 yen per month.
No pay cuts as long as the student writes at least one 300-word entry each month. If the student writes 0 entries in any given month, there is no payment for that month.
