イギリス・マンチェスター出身のマーク先生。
2006年に来日し、横浜で5年間過ごした後、現在は秋田県で暮らしています。奥様と2人のお子さんと一緒に、日本での生活を楽しまれています。

スポーツ・音楽・読書が趣味で、サッカーやテニスを楽しむアクティブな一面も。
ギターやウクレレ、マンドリンの演奏もされており、とても多趣味な先生です。

また、日本で20年以上の英語指導経験を持ち、英語指導資格であるTESOLも保有しています。日常英会話・ビジネス英語・旅行英語・子ども英会話に加え、TOEICやTOEFL対策まで幅広く対応されています。
さらに、英語教育の修士号も取得されており、現在は秋田県内の国際系大学でも英語を教えられています。

初心者の方から上級者の方まで、一人ひとりに寄り添いながら、楽しく英語を学べるようサポートしてくれる先生です＾＾

Hello! My name is Mark, and I am from Manchester in the UK. I moved to Japan in 2006. I lived in Yokohama for five years, and then I moved to Akita in 2011. I live here with my wife and two daughters.

In my free time, I love sports, music, and reading. I enjoy playing football (soccer) and tennis. One day, I want to run a marathon! I also play the guitar, ukulele, and mandolin. I love reading fiction, history, and biographies.

I have over 20 years of experience teaching English in Japan. I have taught conversational English, business English, travel English, and kids’ English, as well as TOEIC and TOEFL. I also have a Master’s Degree in teaching English, and I currently teach at an international university in Akita.

Whether you are a total beginner or an advanced student, I am here to help you enjoy learning English and reach your goals. I am really looking forward to reading your diary stories!
