“Hello everyone, my name is Larni. I originally come from Suffolk in the U.K., but currently, I live with my family in Oita, Japan. I have two children, a daughter who is two years old and a son who was born earlier this year.
My interest in Japan started when I became aware of anime as a teenager. Little by little, I started learning about Japanese history and culture and, I completely fell in love with the country.
In my free time, I enjoy being creative. My main hobby is sewing; however, I also enjoy simple crochet, sketching, baking, photography, watching movies, and listening to music. I have recently started to play the ukulele, but I am not very good. Do you have any hobbies?

趣味
I enjoy making things in my free time, what I make depends a lot on my mood that day. My main hobby is sewing, but I also enjoy sketching and crochet. Lately I have been making some small crochet items for my children such as hats and mittens. Lately I have also been testing recipes, and trying to make English dishes and baked goods using ingredients that can be found in Japan. I enjoy taking photos, but I am very much an amateur, so I mostly just take them for keep sakes and memories.I also really enjoy watching anime and cosplaying, although lately I haven’t had the time to make anything since I am busy with my children.
I am trying to learn to play the ukulele, and I love listening to music, both Japanese and English, so I would love to be able to talk about music too.
