アメリカ出身のKatie！日本在住歴10年以上、大学で英語講師をされています。英検の指導経験もアリ。とても気さくで話しやすい優しい先生です。

Hi there! My name is Katie. I’m an English teacher from Michigan, and I currently live in Osaka with my husband and adorable cat (named Potato!). I’ve been in Japan for over a decade, and my three favorite things about Japan are the trains, the convenience stores, and the food, of course! I’ve been to many places in Japan, but I’ve never been to Hokkaido, so I hope I get a chance to go there soon.

I keep busy by teaching English at a few different universities in Kansai, but I try to find time for my hobbies. I love knitting and crochet, and I’m currently learning how to sew on a beginner’s sewing machine, but it’s slow going! I also try to stay healthy by taking walks, doing yoga, and weightlifting.

Cooking and baking are also some of my interests, and I get so busy every December making Christmas cookies. I like trying new recipes as well. I recently made pasta from scratch with a friend.

I love talking to people about books, movies, and television. I like all kinds of movies, but horror movies are my favorite. Not many people agree with me, unfortunately! If you’ve seen or read anything good recently, I’d love to hear any recommendations!
