フィリピン系ノルウェー人のYonne！TESOLという英語指導資格を持っており、様々なレベルの方へ5年以上の指導経験があります。中国に長年住んでいて、現在は韓国在住。中国語も韓国語もできるので、第二言語をマスターする方法を教えて欲しい方、アート関係の話や文化の違いの話で盛り上がりたい方にはオススメ！

また、先生ご自身がXジェンダーであり、そのことをとても誇りに思っています。もしLGBTQIA+について学びを深めたい時も、より安心して話をすることができます。

Hi! I’ve been a teacher for about 6 years, covering subjects from IELTS test prep to early education, conversational English, business English and public speaking skills. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, as well as certifications in TESOL for young learners and business English.

As a child of mixed ancestry, I moved to China at a very early age, and am intimately familiar with the struggles of learning and maintaining a second language while navigating new cultures. I currently work and live in Korea, and travel to Japan on occasion to visit friends. I love to meet new people and learn more about them, from their backgrounds to their individual philosophies and beliefs. I enjoy participating in all kinds of open-minded discussions, including deep conversations about social issues, cultural studies, media, philosophy, decolonization and modern spirituality.

I’m also incredibly proud of my Filipino heritage, including its indigenous practices and their connection to my nonbinary gender identity (Xジェンダー). If you happen to be a student who is LGBTQIA+, questioning or belong to any other marginalized identities, or even if you are curious about learning how to support friends or colleagues with similar identities, know that I am a safe person to talk to!

I also have too many hobbies to list here, but some of these include Japanese media, from dramas to video games, music and manga.
