趣味・関心：I am a published writer, who writes fiction and non-fiction. I also like health and fitness, nature, pets and animals, music, cinema, history, culture, politics, language, reading, and the arts.

“Hello! My name is Alexei, but everybody calls me Alex. I was born in Canada, where I spent years as a manager in the business world. But I’ve always been passionate about writing! In 2010, I had a detective novel published, and later received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies (which has a very heavy essay-writing component). Later, I received TEFL certification and have been teaching ever since! I love it! It’s so satisfying to watch my students grow and become confident in the English language!

I moved to Poland, with my Polish wife, in 2021. So, we have lots of interesting stories to tell about both Europe and North America! What’s more, I always love to meet new people and so would also love to hear some of your stories about where you live! I am happy to be part of the NEW Eikaiwa Diary Exchange program because I think it is such a fascinating and innovative way to learn English—while also meeting new and interesting people. As I said, I love to watch my students develop and grow—and so, I look forward to helping you grow in your English language confidence and skill!”
