“Hi, my name is Kara! I’m from Adelaide, Australia, a city known for festivals, cultural and sporting events, and vineyards. I currently live in Hiroshima, Japan, but before that I lived in Kumamoto, Kyushu for around 3 years.

I have two daughters, aged 10 and 8 years old, and would love to discuss raising a family with other parents!

I studied art history at graduate school, and I love going to art galleries, museums, and historical sites. Some of my favourite art includes Japanese woodblock prints and traditional paintings, European Romantic era art, and Australian art too, of course! I would love to talk with you about any of these topics, and more! I look forward to hearing from you!”
