趣味・関心:I’m highly involved in visual art. When I was younger I DJ’d at clubs and raves in Sydney, and I’m still interested in that kind of of music. In my previous English teaching job I tended to work with many students who were involved in aviation (JAL/ANA) or military (JSDF/JASDF). While these aren’t ‘hobbies’ and I don’t have firsthand experience I built good rapport with these people and was able to help them through my interest in what they did.

“Hello! My name’s Luke and I’m from Sydney, Australia. I’ve been teaching English in Japan since 2016. I’ve taught all kinds of people and age groups.
I studied fine art at university and I spend a lot of my time painting. Each year I have an exhibition in Sydney or Tokyo. I like checking out galleries, listening to electronic music, watching F1, and drinking nihonshu. I also love aviation: planes and airports…Haneda is one of my favorite places!
I enjoy hearing about other people’s experiences and thoughts, so I’m excited to meet you and help with your diary writing.”
